John walked down the deserted streets filled with broken robots. The air was polluted by the metallic smell and made him want to vomit. It seemed like there was no human existence. There was disgusting rubbish all over the floor. Darkness filled the lonely world. There was no sound to be heard other than the rusty robots dragging itself on the dirty streets. Scared, he quickly ran back home. Suddenly, at the corner of his eye, he saw an old abandoned factory on the top of the hill while he was running. He took a few steps back to get a better look. After a while of pondering, he realised that the factory was not there before. Wondering what was inside the factory he crossed the road and went up the hill.
Curiously, he peered through the window and saw white sheets covering the heavy machinery. After a while of inspecting the factory, he saw what looked like a human, but it was standing completely still. “It might be a mannequin, but the skin looks real,” he thought to himself. Not caring what consequences he might get, he went into the factory. Being a scientist, he wanted to inspect the real looking mannequin. Suddenly, bright red lights turned on in the robot’s eyes. Large garage doors opened revealing thousands of robots.
“Intruder alert!” the robots shouted repeatedly.
John quickly grabbed one of the robots and deactivated it because he wanted to run tests on it. The other robots started chasing him. He ran as fast as his legs could go out of the factory but as he came closer to the exit the huge doors slammed shut tightly. He was trapped inside. In a panic, he searched the factory for other escape routes. There was no other option. He ran under the nearby desk for shelter while he reprogramed the deadly robot. Once he was done, he ran for his life to the closed exit and held the robot to his face and pressed the giant red button on the back. Huge lasers came out of its eyes and destroyed all the robots.
“I’ll be back!” shouted the big robot before he deactivated.
