War is violent conflict between gangs, states and countries. In the past, many wars are caused by one country wanting to gain new territories and money. War is horrific and destructive in many ways. Experiencing a war can cause physical and mental issues to soldiers and their families.
Injuries or deaths are horrific outcomes in wars. Soldiers that help fight in a war might suffer from major or minor injuries. In some examples, they might lose limbs or arms. There are many landmines that have been placed all around Afghanistan that traps people from moving from places to places. Landmines can blow people’s limbs off or potentially kill them. There are many wars that are going on around the world that has been going on for many of years. The war in Afghanistan has been going on since 1978 and is still going. Brutal war must be stopped due to injuries and death.
Wars can cause mental issues to soldiers and their families. In wars, soldiers are experiencing disruptive and horrific events. After the war, soldiers might suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Every night, they suffer from nightmares. There are many hospitals that helps them recover from any traumas that they have. Some parents might get anxiety from being stressed about their children getting hurt again. Wars will cause mental issues.
Tanks, bombs, and landmines can destroy buildings and houses. Workers have put hard work and time to build the building only for it to get destroyed. Rebuilding buildings can cost money and time. Some people might not have enough money to rebuild it causing them to be homeless. Buildings might fall over causing people to get injured or die. Many organisations such as Red Cross, Salvation Army and more that are trying to help victims of the war to recover and rebuild houses.
Wars should not be encouraged and started as it can cause mental and physical issues to the victims. Buildings will also collapse and it would cost money to rebuild it. Governments should help try stop wars.
