Recently on the news, there has been many articles about homeless people living on the streets. In my opinion, I strongly disagree that homelessness is the biggest issue in society but it is still a serious problem. There are many other issues that is more important and serious than homelessness such as global warming, coronavirus and more.

Homelessness is not having enough money, shelter, food, clean water and education. Although many people die each year from homelessness, coronavirus is more serious because there has been 1.93 million deaths. Many hospitals and medical centres are being flooded with infected patients everyday. Doctors and scientist are working tirelessly trying to get the vaccine. Homelessness is different from coronavirus because homelessness has been going on for many years but coronavirus has been going on for more than one year.

Global warming is also more serious then homelessness because in a few years a lot of icebergs will melt and the ocean level will rise. In more than a hundred years time many countries will be flooded if people do not do anything about it.  It has been going on for thousands of years. Some governments around the world are trying to stop it by using renewable energy such as wind turbines, dams and water turbines. Global warming is not that important now but in a few years time, people will suffer from the Earth getting hotter.

Bushfires is very important because thousands of trees have been burnt down causing animals such as wallabies, kangaroos, koalas and more to lose their habitats. Many houses ,farms and shops have been destroyed in the bushfires. In the 2019-2020 bushfire crisis, over 59 million hectares has been burnt. The Australian government is trying to help owners of burnt houses and farms by giving them money to rebuild it.

Homelessness is less important in the world now because there is a lot of things happening right now such as coronavirus,  global warming and bushfires. Even though homelessness is not the biggest issue in society people should still help them.
